Me and friends went to an indulgent bday dinner at Dolce, which is amazing and I wish I were back there now!

Hi loves, how are you? It is officially the weekend in a few hours and what are your plans? It isn't a major planned weekend for me...church, take leah to the playground, host an event with one of the agents at the office, and make nutella croissants on Sunday. What I am going to see this weekend!!!

I have been waiting patiently for this movie to come out and I didn't think that I would even want to see it, but in some weird way, I can't wait to see it. I think I am going to take Leah over the weekend to see it. Yay!

It's definently a Monday!

I am so grateful that the day is almost over. Because I had so many deadlines at the beginning of the month, now I feel like I am in a slump at work, cause there is nothing to do, which isn't necessarily a bad thing to me.
Anyways, I feel like being random, so here are 40 random things about me, enjoy:

1. I am a property manager at a real estate firm.
2. I love salty more than sweet.
3. Which means we always keep potato chips in the house.
4. Just heard Radiohead for the first time and I am in love.
5. Has been thinking about dinner since 2 and I still can't decide.
6. I love things in order.
7. I have an obsession with rubbermaid containers.
8. One of my pet peeves is people picking their noses...gross!
9. I listen to the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs" radio channel on my Pandora.
10. I refer to my blackberry as my crackberry.
11. I won't let Leah walk out of the house without a bow or ribbon in my hair-I love having a girl!
12. Sometimes I wish the things in my head would stop.
13. I love herbs and right now I am taking St. John's Wort...you can google what it's for.
14. I love the new fall TV lineup.
15. And tonight I get to watch Gossip Girl and Rachel Zoe
16. I sometimes wish I wasn't a single parent.
17. It's hard as hell sometimes.
18. But sometimes in my world, men are useless.
19. But I am grateful that I am independent.

I am working on this now on one huge wall in my living room. It features pictures of me and a few siblings and of course tons of pictures of Leah. Since I still have another 2 weeks off of school, I have been working on doing things around the house and one thing that I will be doing this week is moving around the living room and the dining room and do something a little different.Plus it will spice up the place for fall. I am excited! I need a little bit of a change. I love decorating for fall!

It's Friday!

Hi loves, I am so glad it is Friday! It hasb't been a bad week, but I always look forward to weekends. Anyways, anyone have special plans? I am going to my besties birthday party tonight, church tomorrow, dinner party for another friend's bday, and we are going to Oktoberfest, which we do every year, so I will definently take pictures for you all to enjoy. Hope you have a great weekend!

On a fairly weirder note, yesterday me and the beau broke up! I am honestly just a little inch sad and thats about all. I knew that it would eventually come to this, so I have been prepared to deal with this. He was a great guy, but in the midst of all the things he was telling himself, he didn't know how to be in a relationship and he wasn't ready for that. He had way too many irons in the fire and I just happened to be somewhere in between all of that and that just doesn't work for me. I just wanted to know that I was important to him, that I mattered, that I was an intrigal part of his life and even though he would try, I never felt it. He started off that way, but got way too comfortable and never could keep it up. Truth be told, because I didn't feel important, it my trust with him questionable, along with a few other things, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had had someone else on the side. It hurts my feelings a little, because I am honestly a good woman and I hope all the things he was doing was worth losing someone great. And don't get me wrong, I loved being with him, but he just couldn't give me what I needed. I was really starting to become unhappy and then I thought about it, and realized even when I was single, I wasn't unhappy, so I can't let another human make me unhappy, and thats how I knew it would only be a matter of time. I had already talked to Leah about the whole situation, and explained to her that I was unhappy and she understood and she didn't want to see me sad, so that defienently went better than I thought it would. It's going to be okay, but I am not going to spend my weekend moping around, I am going to spend it busy with my daughter and there will be bad days, but it will all work out.

I love my shows, but now that its about to be fall, all the good shows are coming on and it makes my Netflix useless. Some of my shows at the moment are Gossip Girl, 90210, Top Chef, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Project Runway, Kortney and Khloe Take Miami and Bridezillas.
But one that just makes my Tuesday nights extra juicy is Melrose Place. I could never get into the original, which of course one day I will Netflix it, but the new one is so good and full of drama. This show takes me to a whole different place and it is so much fun! There is a twist and turn at every corner, not to mention the people on the show are beautiful. I love it! I can see myself making amazing martinis and watching Melrose and 90210. So much fun drama!!! xoxo

My new music!!

I am a music buff!!! I love any and all types of music. It ranges from country to gospel to punk and right now, I have a major music crush....I absolutely love the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. They are amazing! The CD is full of melodic songs with a little bit of a punky edge. Its absolutely lovely and the words make sense. I think that reach all the musical boundaries with their music. I am so in love! The CD is "It's Blitz". Great stuff and I am tempted to buy all the previous CDs, thats how good it is.

Today is one of "those" days. I have finally got done with the summer quarter of school and there is only one quarter left until graduation (yay!). I am supposed to be enjoying the next 3 weeks until school starts back and I have started off being sick as a dog...ugh! I have like yucky cold symptoms and I am at work, wishing I could go crawl back into bed. So I am at work watching my shows online (90210 & Melrose Place)...shhh..don't tell anyone. But I hope you all have a great day!

How are you? I have literally taken some days off from the blog because I have been so busy with work and school. I am taking my last final tonight and I am so ready to be done. After this final, I will have 3 weeks out of school and I am so excited! This is time I will have to read, cook and watch all the new seasons of TV shows.
Anyways, I did go and see the movie 500 days of Summer and it was different. I emjoyed it and loved all the music and it shows the ups and downs of love, so at one point I wanted to cry, but it was really good. Anyways, I hope everyone has amazing weekends...I am not doing anything, I am gonna just relax and chill, take Leah on a picnic on Saturday, catch up on movies and shows and of course start on both books that I have neglected: "Twenties Girl" by Sophie Kinsella and "Stori Telling" by Tori Spelling. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

I love this picture so much! I would love to get a great big hug right now! In the midst of all the beau issues I am having right now, I am so lucky to have amazing friends who completely have been amazing to me and they are my rock. They are almost as close to me as my family. I felt like I was going down, and they have been picking me up and it is making it so much easier to move past this place that I am in. Sometimes we just need to be reminded how amazing we are and that we deserve the world! And they let me know everyday. Thanks Cedric and Sandra, you are both amazing to me and I appreiate it!

Roll Tide Roll!

This is my favorite time of the year, because things start to get interesting. I pride myself on being a major diva all day, everyday, but when it hits this time of the year, my diva side gets extra humble. I generally don't like sports, but my dirty little secret is that I am absolutely obsessed with college football. And my team of choice? Alabama Crimson Tide. I love my team with a passion and I am a serious fan. So I am so excited because season starts on September 5th and this is when things will begin to get to be tons of fun! All of us Alabama fans stick together and drink together. So in honor of the first game, I bought one of the cutest Alabama shirts ever to wear with pearls(thats how we roll) and to wear with my cute jeans and for Leah, I got her Roll Tide ribbons for her hair to wear with her Birkenstocks and jeans. I also got decals for the car, and a new Alabama throw for the couch. I am beyond excited and I am ready to go meet new Alabama fans and drink Bud Light!
