It's like there must be a full moon or something...

Me and Nina have been friends for about 10 years and it has been a great friendship. We went to high school together and we both went to college together and we have always remained really close friends. She is Leahs godmother and Leah was her flowergirl at her wedding. She came up to Huntsville this weekend and sent most of her Saturday with me and gave me the great news that she is preggers! I am so excited and happy about it, it is the best news ever! I can't wait to be there for everything and I am glad that she lives close. She was there when I had Leah and I plan to be there when she has her bundle of joy! I just want to say congrats to Nina & George and I can't wait to see cutie!

P.S. She is the second friend in the past few months who is preggers, so I have tons of baby showers to plan! I love it!

I can't believe it's here!

The day that I have been waiting for for 2 years is finally here! After my final this evening, I am done with school. I would have received my Associate's Degree in Web Deisgn and Development. It feels absolutely surreal and I never thought this day would come! I remember during summer when I was stressing about not taking enought classes to get done, it felt like I had an entire year left, but I hung in there, hoping that it would officially fly by and honestly it has. It has not always been easy and it is something that more than one time, I have wanted to give up on, because I am good at that. But I knew that it would be worth it in the end and it is. I know that I still have to begin to venture out and look for a career, but I am going to bask in this for a minute and enjoy.

I do know that I cannot take all the credit, because without my support, I would have caved a long time ago. I am gratefeul for God; who helped me and has been the ultimate friend in my life. I am grateful to my mom for helping me out with Leah, because that gave me the opportunity to go to school at nights. Also, Sandra because she made this experience the most fun and I am glad to have the opportunity to celebrate this with her ("We did it girl!!!"). And of course, my main love, who made me even go for it and who is so happy for me and that is what really matters and she has made me motivated and that is my daughter Leah; you are absolutely amazing and I love you more than words can describe...I am doing this babe for me and you!
